Biography:

After starting and finding his love in the entertainment business at the age of sixteen and spending a little over twenty years on the air entertaining listeners on the radio airwaves in Eastern North Carolina, Gary Whitehurst made the move into his passion for travel over thirteen years ago and hasn't looked back. Gary stresses a focus on his relationship with his clients rather than just the suppliers.

Gary had been on fourteen cruises before entering the cruise business and now has over one hundred under his belt. Through his training over the past thirteen years, he has gained in-depth knowledge and certification from various vendors including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Uniworld, Princess, Avalon, Disney, Silversea, Regent, Oceania, Holland America, Club Med, Universal, Marriott, Globus, Rocky Mountaineer, Virgin Voyages, and more. In December of 2017 Gary achieved his status as a CTA from the prestigious Travel Institute. Gary has traveled extensively through the Caribbean, Bahamas, and has also visited Alaska, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Argentina, Wales, the Netherlands, Brazil, along the Amazon River, by train in the Canadian Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer, and most recently Antarctica and all-over South America.
